On Tuesday evening at the Johnson County Republican Party meeting I officially announced my candidacy for Johnson County Precinct 4 Commissioner. It's been a long time coming and I'm happy to be on the campaign trail again. I was re-elected last year without opposition so it's been over four years since I had to really campaign hard. I'm looking forward to it though. I love the process because along the way I get to meet so many great people and make many new friendships. The process of a campaign is a long set of small challenges from door knocking and event attendance to fundraising, each an opportunity to succeed which always leads to excitement in starting the next. I've already been blessed with great people coming alongside me to pray for me and promote me and it's very humbling. The anticipation of who God will connect me with next has me watchful and vigilant. I hope it's you.
