Some interesting statistics are out this week noting the percentage of presidential cabinet appointees who have private sector experience. The Obama administration has set a new low with a mere 8% of his over 430 cabinet members having come from the private sector. His closest predecessor was President Kennedy with just under 30%. The average is around 40% with some of our most conservative presidents over 50%.
This explains a lot. A huge majority of the people in the White House forming policy have done very little to support themselves without taxpayer money. It's astonishing that with only 15%-19% of our population employed in the public sector the president found over 90% to fill the needed positions. Well you know what they say - "it's who you know" and in this case Barrack Obama knows few who don't feed off the system.
It's no wonder that with so many people with no practical private job experience in the White House that we have such an explosive growth in government being attempted. it also explains why they think that more taxes means more money for all - after all that's how they've always got a raise.
