There was a park design committee meeting last night and boy is it looking good! Joshua, this is going to be a great park that our families will really enjoy. The playground and "sprayground" (water area for little kids) features look really fun and unique. It has a nice walking path, lots of trees and some picnic areas. There's even a small pond that will have fish in it. One interesting design feature is that the water from the sprayground will be collected and empty into the pond to keep the pond level up which will be used to irrigate the park. A good conservation idea.
The only thing I'd like to see added to it at this point would be some shade over the playground and the seating area around the sprayground. I think it will increase the usable time of the playground and make the parental seating area of the sprayground a lot more comfortable.
The worst part is we won't have it until next year. I can't wait!
