Tomorrow is the big day. At 10am I'll re-publish the extremecheldan.com web site to reveal the area family that will be the recipient of a new home from Cheldan Homes and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. From that point hundreds of local volunteers will work around the clock for seven days to complete a monumental project. I can't wait to get started. I'll be with the Cheldan team tomorrow afternoon for the "Braveheart March" as we kick off the start of the build. It's been amazing to see what has gone into getting ready for this one week we're about to begin. I'm sure many are like me in that we've been so focused on the tasks we have to complete for our small part that we haven't really taken hold of how this will change the lives of one family. We've been encouraged by the producers to try to just take a moment this week as we watch this amazing new home go up and really breathe in the reality of what we can do when come together for a common purpose. I'm looking forward to finding that moment.
A.J.
