It didn't take long for me to learn that a campaign can get expensive very quickly. Even in a city of just 6,000 or so residents it takes a lot of signs to start establishing some name recognition and a lot of hard work to get the out (more on that in another post). Luckily I've been able to acquire some generous campaign contributions so hopefully with a few more we'll have what we need for some effective advertising. How much does this position pay again? Oh yeah, zero. You've got to want to serve!
